What is internet?
Internet calls the network of network or it includes the several types of network. On next word the interconnection of network is internet. For example cse server, yahoo.com such types of network lies under the internet.

1)viewing and studying webpages.
2)sending email.
3)chatting for communication.
Modem, phone line , computer service are must required to use facility of internet
Modem : it is a electronic device which interconnect the internet and computer with the help of phone line. We can found 2 kinds of modem : 1) internal and 2) external
Internet service provider (ISP)
It is firm or organization which provide the service of internet to another firm, organization or personal individual.
Internet is not personal property but it is under of any organizations. So to use the facility of internet we should purchase or we should take the authority from such types of organizations.

1 local area network(LAN)
2 metropolitan area network(MAN)
3 wide area network(WAN)
1) LOCAL AREA NETWORK
It is owned and controlled by a single organization. It has limited and small area. The network of the CSE is a example of LAN
2)metropolitan area network
It is such types of network which covers entire city .cable television lines, are the example of the MAN. It has greater area than local area network but less than wide area network
3)wide area network
it has international connection. It provides the service to server of over the world. Eg www.

It is a electronic paper where we can see text , picture, and we can listen sounds also.
Web sites are made for different purpose

For education etc
The webpages are hosted in the websites so that every web pages have their own particular website address.
